As the leaves change and the air gets crisp, October brings an exciting lineup of lessons, activities, and stories to spark curiosity and creativity in our students.
From banned books to spooky STEM challenges, this month is packed with opportunities to learn, think critically, and celebrate the season together.
Here’s a day-by-day look at what’s coming up this month :
📚 Week 1 (Oct 1–5): Banned Books & Critical Thinking
We’re kicking off October by exploring the power of stories and the importance of free expression during Banned Books Week (Oct 1–7).
Students will debate censorship, discover classic and modern challenged books, and imagine the kinds of stories they would write.
